On Sunday, May 1st, Michele Ferri was honored to celebrate with Asbury United Methodist Church the consecration of their new Social Hall.
Asbury UMC is located at Eleventh and K Streets, NW in downtown Washington, DC and is listed on The National Register of Historic Places as well as The District of Columbia’s Inventory of Historic Sites and the Underground Railroad Location, National Network of Freedom. Over the years the hall has received extensive use by the community. The multi-purpose hall and reception areas were in need of image enhancements to better welcome and fit into a planned new worship service. The new design created an aesthetically pleasing greeting center at the front entrance as well as a curved wood ceiling in order to provide warmth, elegance and character in their New Social Hall.
