An innovative new facility combines housing, with medical care and supportive services.
On October 24, 2019 members of LEWA attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for Bailey’s Community Shelter and Supportive Housing. This new 23,000 SF facility provides 52 emergency shelter beds to serve single adults including four medical respite beds, and 18 supportive housing units, including two ADA accessible units.
Fully ADA compliant and energy-efficient, this new facility provides 24-hour staffing to help those in need find and maintain housing. Flexible multipurpose space can be used for the Hypothermia Prevention Program and other activities.
