Beachwood Fire Station No. 2 Breaks Ground

On Monday, May 22, 2017 members of LeMay Erickson Willcox Architects attended the groundreaking for Beachwood Fire Station No. 2. This new 25,615 s.f. fire station for the City of Beachwood replaces the antiquated existing Station No. 2 and serves as a “gateway” civic building on a highly-visible corner site near the southern entrance to the City. The new site affords improved response times to the station’s first due area. The station design will serve as four facilities in one: Police and fire dispatch center, Police and fire training center, Emergency operations center and State of the art fire station.

In attendance were members of the Fire Department, City Counsel and Mayor Merle S. Gordon.
