Public Safety Training Academy – Burn Buildings
The Public Safety Training Academy project includes two Fire Training “Burn” Buildings that allow firefighters the opportunity to safely train in realistic live fire scenarios with controlled propane fire simulations. The Residential Burn Building simulates a typical 2-story single-family residence and includes live fire bedroom training props and a garage fire training prop. The Commercial Burn building is a six-story structure that includes multiple gas fire training props to allow training opportunities in various scenarios including high-rise residential and office environments. The Commercial Burn Building also includes a sprinkler system raining lab and a six-story elevator shaft with an elevator cab “stuck” between floors.
