Public Safety Training Academy – Training Fire Station
The Training Fire Station includes six, 75 foot long drive-through Apparatus Bays and common fire station bay support spaces such as PPE Lockers, SCBA Compressor Room, Offices, and a Shop. The apparatus bays are used to house the training apparatus and allow for fully simulated response training. This provides the opportunity for cadets to receive an alert and respond to an incident location elsewhere on the campus. The Fire Station Training building also includes an extensive Leadership Command Training Center with an expansive table top model of a city, an incident scenario room, a dispatch room, and a garage like space to house the Command Vehicle.
